Thanks to all of you who attended YARN last week. Thanks to our special guests, Knitteapolis and Karen MacEwan who made our evening very special. Your donations raised $150 for independent film! It also reaffirmed the need to continue programming women's issues at Casket Cinema. if you know of other documentaries we should program, please forward me the info.
Casket Cinema is Mark Wojahn's underground micro-cinema co-founded in 2008 with Wilbur Ince. It is dedicated to showing the best in independent documentaries. The intention of the screenings is to use movies to bring people together, and provide an outlet for community building.
